Glad I found these tasty flakes in my search to replace my previous fave, Product 19. That big bad company (starts with a "K") decided to kill those delicious crispy flakes that sustained me for a couple of decades [teardrop form in eyes]. This Multigrain cereal isn't a 19-replica but pretty close, certainly the best replacement I've located. And better yet these are from a great company with great organic ingredients, too! Gonna keep a supply around for many years to come, I really need a fast healthy meal a few times a week!
I've made some major dietary changes when at age 67, I had a heart attack in April of 2016 and although I've been very happy with how much better I feel with the changes, I missed cold cereal. Maybe it was the ice cold dairy milk I was missing, but when I read the label of this package, thought it would be perfect to try with plant milk. Trying to find a whole grain cereal that had no added anything was an exercise in futility so I opted for hot oatmeal over shredded wheat or air-puffed oat circles - until I happened on this one two months ago and still can't quite get over that I've never heard of it before. Eating this with almond milk, for me is cold cereal perfection. Thank you!
Most "healthy" cereals I tried were either far too sweet or tasted like cardboard. This has just a hint of sweetness and is perfect. I bought a large bag of Multigrain Oat Bran Flakes primarily for the oat bran and being organic, and Nature's Path even went out of their way with the eco-friendly packaging. This is my go-to cereal and is a great value. I am 69 but most people guess 55. Health is beyond important when you see so many "seniors" throwing in the towel on health. Move daily, eat organic, get out in nature and take time to de-stress and reflect. You will live better and much longer.
